Win a Defibrillator

For your School or Sports Club in Essex
Following the success of our 2021 competition for an Essex based School or Sports Club to win a Defibrillator, won by Holy Trinity Primary School in Eight Ash Green, we will once again be holding a competition and donating another life saving piece of equipment to another Essex based School or Sports club who do not currently have one.
The draw will be made on National Restart a Heart Day on the 16th October 2022, and entries will be accepted up until 12 noon on the 16th October 2022.
To enter a school of sports club, simply like our facebook page ATH Training and add the name of your entry in the comments section on the post pinned at the top of the page. To ensure that smaller schools and sports clubs are not at a disadvantage, one ticket will be allocated to each entrant regardless of the number of nominations they receive. When nominating, please ensure you put the name as well as town they are located in to ensure any entrants with the same name are not missed off the draw.
In a Cardiac Arrest, the chance of out of hospital survival rate drops by 10% every minute before a shock is administered to a casualty whose heart is in a shockable rhythm. A defibrillator is an extremely easy piece of equipment to use, and there is no prior knowledge or training required to use one successfully. The model we will be donating will have a video screen which allows untrained rescuers to use following the step by step videos in the event of a Cardiac Arrest.
