Health and Safety Courses in Essex
We offer numerous Health and Safety courses including Fire Safety, Safeguarding of Children, Mental Health in the Workplace and Evac Chair. These courses work best being provided onsite allowing us to tailor the training to your own specific requirements ensuring you gain the maximum benifit from the training.
Fire Safety Courses
This course can be completed as a level 1 awareness or Level 2 course and is completed as a half day course. Upon successful completion delegates will have the skills and knowledge on fire prevention, as well as what they are required to do in their role as a Fire Warden / Marshall in order to reduce the risk of fire outbreak, and also how to act in the event of an emergency.
As well as Fire Safety courses, we are also able to provide Fire Extinguisher training and this can be completed as a stand alone course or bolted onto the Level 1 Awareness and Level 2 courses.

Safeguarding Courses
Safeguarding training is required for those working with both Children and Vulnerable Adults. The Safeguarding of Children (Child Protection) course is aimed at anyone working within the childcare sector including Nurseries, Play Groups, Sports Coaches and Child Minders.
The Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults course is aimed at those working within the care sector including elderly care homes, and residential supportive housing for adults with learning disabilities.
For those whose work crosses over between Children and Vulnerable Adults we are able to offer a combined course.

Evacuation Chair Courses
Evacuation Chair training is required for business premises who have Evacuation Chairs available for use in an Emergency Evacuation. This hands on Level 2 course will teach delegates about the assembly, disassembly and use of the chair enabling them help disabled employees / clients, injured people, anyone with a visual impairment or unable to get themselves to a place of safety out of the building and to the designated meeting point.
