DescriptionList Item 1
Aimed at anyone who works in the Forest School setting and is registered with Ofsted.
This course focuses on scenarios that are likely to occur in the Forest School setting that you would not encounter in a standard childcare environment. Completing this course will provide the knowledge and confidence that Leaders can deal with any illnesses or accidents that they could be faced with in a remote setting until help arrives.

DurationList Item 2
The course is a minimum of 16 hours completed in at leats 2 days. This can be consecutive days, split over a longer period but must be completed within 6 weeks of starting and 100% face to face.

- Unresponsive casualties
- CPR fir infants, children and older children
- AED for paediatric casualties
- Infantile convulsion
- Control of bleeding and shock
- Bites and stings
- Head and eye injuries
- Sickle cell anaemia
- Diabetes
- Foreign bodies
- Anaphylaxis
- Epilepsy
- Illness due to heat or cold
- Electrical injuries
- Fainting
- Choking for infants, children and older children
- Fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains

AssessmentList Item 4
The test at the end of the course is completed digitally and can be completed on smart phones, tablets or laptops.
We have devices available for anyone who does not have the means to complete the test on their own device.

Certification
Upon completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate in Forest School First Aid valid for 3 years from the date of completion.
The awarding body for our vacational training qualifications (VTQ) is Pro Trainings Eu and for regulated (RQF) courses TQUK are the awarding body.
