Regulated First Aid at Work Courses in Colchester

Aimed at individuals and businesses where the risks are higher and there is a requirement for employees to holder a great level of qualification.

Sectors that may require this level of training but not limited to include tree surgeons, warehouse staff, factory workers, places where machinary is operated and construction site managers.

A 3 day course that can be completed over consecutive days or split into smaller chunks as long as the course is completed within 10 weeks or the start date. There is a minimum of 18 contact hours for this course excluding breaks and to gain certification delegates must complete the whole course.

As of July 2016 First Aid at Work courses can be completed as 100% in the class room or Blended with day 1 completed online and days 2 and 3 in th classroom. To find out more about blended training contact us.

• Illness assessment
• Diabetes, angina, asthma and stroke

There is no formal assessment to pass the course. Our tutors will continuously assess delegates throughout the course.

There is a written open response to complete which can be done at various intervals throughout the course or at the end as a group to recap the learning objectives.

Upon successful completion iof the course delegates will gain an OFQUAL Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) valid for 3 years from the date of completion.

The awarding body for our vocational training qualifications (VTQ) is Pro Trainings Eu and for regulated (RQF) courses TQUK are the awarding body.

This courses costs £240.00 + VAT per person.
